The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

Disconnect the power to the boiler before touching the pump. The replacement must be carried out by a qualified technician.
Locate the label of the Wilo motor on your pump. It should indicate Typ HB15/4-1 and No. 4516967.
Look for the Saunier Duval reference (Réf) 0020016835 on the same label. The label on our pump also has the number 4519731.
Compare the electrical data: 65 W, 0.28 A, 230 V, 50 Hz and capacitor of 2 µF.
Look at the label on your boiler. The confirmed model is the Saunier Duval Semia Tek F24.

Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump

The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

The radiators do not heat up or take a long time to heat, even though the boiler ignites.
Cause: The pump is not moving the water in the circuit, either there is air or there is a lack of pressure.
Check that the pump is running, that the circuit has pressure, and that it is properly bled.

The pump makes noise or vibrates.
Cause: Air in the circuit or internal wear of the pump.
Bleed the air from the circuit. If the noise persists, the pump may be worn out and it is advisable to replace it.

The pump hums but does not rotate after weeks of being idle.
Cause: The rotor may be seized due to scale or sludge.
A technician can try to free it before replacing the pump.

Water is leaking from the pump or its seals.
Cause: Damaged gasket or shaft seal with leakage.
Dry the area and locate the exact point of the leak before requesting the spare part.

The boiler locks out or shuts down due to excessive temperature.
Cause: There may be a lack of water circulation in the circuit.
Check the pump, the circuit valves, and the filters.

They are different codes. The 0020087275 is a pump motor and is not this part. The 0020037112 and the 0010030688 are other Saunier Duval codes for heating pumps for Semia boilers, and we do not consider them equivalent to the 0020016835. If your pump has one of them, please consult us with a photo of the label.

Can I use the Wilo 4533636 instead?

It is not the same pump. The 4533636 is proposed as a substitute for number 4516967, but the boiler manufacturer does not always endorse these equivalences. This sheet is for the HB15/4-1 number 4516967.
