How to check if it is the part for your boiler

The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

1. Look at the motor label: it should say Grundfos UPS15-50 J1 CIAO and the P/N 59725011 (on the plate it may appear as 597/2501M).
2. Compare the power ratings: this one indicates 45, 70, and 95 W. If yours shows different figures, it is not the same pump.
3. In the official breakdown of the Eolo Star 23, the circulator 15-50 is 1.024171 (standard); the Export copy gives 1.015561. If your pump or the breakdown of your boiler has an Immergas code, note it down.
4. If your boiler is an Immergas Eolo Star 23, confirmed: this pump is for it. For another model, send us a photo of your pump's label and the boiler's control board from Contact.

Common symptoms and faults

• 01

  The radiators remain cold with the burner on.

  Cause: Bleed the radiators and check that the pump is running.

• 02

  The pump hums but does not rotate.

  Cause: The rotor may be stuck after the summer: have a technician try to unlock it before replacing it.

• 03

  Metallic noise or vibration when requesting heating.

  Cause: There may be air or low pressure in the circuit: check the pressure gauge and bleed.

• 04

  It is leaking from the body of the pump.

  Cause: Check if the water is coming from the pump or from a nearby gasket.

• 05

  The boiler stops due to overheating.

  Cause: There may be a circulation issue: check that the pump starts and that there is no air in the circuit.
