Junkers safety valve Flamco OSV 31 (OSV31) Ref. OSV31
The OSV 31 safety valve (OSV31) protects the heating circuit: it opens and discharges water when the pressure reaches its set point, marked on the part as 3 bar. It is marked with 110 °C, 50 kW, and CE 0343. It is used in Junkers boilers; please consult us about your model before ordering. It is sold refurbished, tested, and with a 1-year warranty.

How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Look for the designation OSV 31 (also written as OSV31 or OSV-31) on your boiler's valve. On our part, it is printed on the red cover.
- Compare the markings: 3 bar, 110 °C, and 50 kW on the cover, and CE 0343 on the body. The setting of 3 bar is the pressure at which the valve opens, not the cold filling pressure.
- Compare the connection. Our part has a smooth cylindrical inlet with O-rings, without visible threads, and a bent outlet in the shape of a spigot. The marking does not provide measurements: measure those of your gas valve.
- Do not consider the Remeha 200022010 (3.5 bar) and the Junkers 87174010120 as equivalents without first comparing their setting, designation, and connection.
- If you have any questions, call us at 911 17 77 77 with your boiler model, or send us a photo of the gas valve and the boiler's data plate.
- A qualified technician should install it: it is a safety component of the heating circuit.
Symptoms that require diagnosis in the safety valve
The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The safety valve frequently discharges water.
Cause: The pressure in the circuit reaches the setting of the valve (3 bar in this part) and the valve opens to discharge.
Ask a qualified technician to check the cause before replacing the gas valve.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

- Do not confuse with 200022010: Remeha safety valve of 3.5 bar. This part is marked 3 bar: do not consider it equivalent without comparing the setting.
- Do not confuse with 87174010120: Junkers/Bosch safety valve of 3 bar (8 717 401 012 0). It is a different reference: compare designation and connection before considering it equivalent.
- Do not confuse with 7616272: Remeha hydraulic module (MY445). It is the complete module, not the gas valve.
- Please consult us before purchasing if your boiler is: Remeha Calenta 40c, Remeha Hera Condens.
