- Look at the red cover of your gas valve. This part is marked with "TÜV", "SV", "06-2006", "H", "50", and "3 bar". The body has CALEFFI molded on it and an arrow.
- Compare your current valve with the brand, the complete marking, and the setting. The setting is the pressure at which the valve opens, not the cold filling pressure of the boiler.
- Check the shape and dimensions of the inlet and outlet connections. The marking is not enough to determine them. This part has one end with a spigot and an O-ring.
- Do not consider the Caleffi 532043, the 87174010120, or other 3 bar valves as equivalents without comparing reference, marking, and connections.
