Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

  1. Look for the marking on your current gas valve. This piece is printed on the white disc of the red control and reads TÜV·SV·96·760·H·50 (also written as TUV SV 96-760 H 50), next to the 3 bar.
  2. Check that your valve also has a setting of 3 bar and that the body has DN15 and 1/2". A valve with a different setting is not the same part.
  3. Compare the appearance: brass body, red control, threaded connections with internal thread, and an arrow engraved on the body. Appearance alone is not enough: always compare the marking.
  4. Do not confuse it with other 3 bar and 1/2" valves with different codes, such as 8707401027 or 87174010120. We do not consider them equivalent.
  5. If your boiler is Euroline, ZWE23-1AE, Neobit, or Novanox, or if you have any questions, send us a photo of the marking on your gas valve and the PCB of the boiler from the Contact section, or call 911 17 77 77.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the safety valve

Where is the code for this gas valve and which one should I compare?
The code TUV.SV.96-760.H.50 is printed on the white disc of the red control, next to 3 bar. It is also written as TUV SV 96-760 H 50. The body is marked DN15 and 1/2". Compare the code with that of your gas valve and make sure it also indicates 3 bar.
Is it compatible with my Euroline, ZWE23-1AE, Neobit or Novanox?
Please consult us before requesting it. Send us a photo of the marking on your gas valve and the PCB of your boiler from the Contact section, or call 911 17 77 77, and we will confirm if it is the spare part you need.
Is it the same as 8707401027 or 87174010120?
We cannot guarantee it. They are Junkers safety valves of 3 bar and 1/2" with a different code. The 8707401027 (also written as 87074010270) connects with an O-ring; this part has threaded connections and is marked TUV.SV.96-760.H.50. Always compare the marking and the type of connection of your valve.
Is the 3 bar marked the filling pressure of the boiler?
No. The 3 bar is the set pressure: the pressure at which the safety valve opens to discharge. It is not the cold filling pressure of the boiler.
Can I install a valve with a different setting?
No. This valve is rated at 3 bar and a valve with a different setting is not the same part. Also compare the diameter DN15 and the 1/2" connection.
Who should install the safety valve?
A qualified technician, because it is a safety component.
Is it sold tested and with a warranty?
Yes. It is a refurbished part, tested and with a 1-year warranty.
