- Look for the exact model on the rating plate of your boiler. This gas valve is for the Junkers ZWBC 24-2 C 23 and the ZWBC 25-2 C 23.
- Compare with your original valve the brand, the complete code (540000), and the setting "3 bar," marked on the red part.
- Compare the shape: black body in elbow, with Caleffi logo, two connections with O-rings and red part.
- Do not confuse it with the Junkers 87161064310 or with the Caleffi from the 540 series (540 040 to 540 090), which cut off the fuel.
- If the symptom is water from the discharge, first check the pressure on the manometer with the boiler cold and the expansion vessel.

The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Water is leaking from the safety valve discharge.
Cause: The circuit pressure has exceeded the maximum with the boiler at maximum temperature and the valve opens. If the pressure is correct and the valve continues to drip, the valve may be suspected.
Check the pressure on the manometer with the boiler cold. Fill the circuit only with the cold boiler. Check the expansion vessel, which should be inspected every year. If the pressure is correct and it continues to drip, the gas valve may be suspected.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
