Fagor 3-Way Valve FE 24E N Ref. MU0700038
When you open the hot water tap or start the heating, the Fagor 3-Way Valve FE 24E N (Ref. MU0700038) is responsible for directing the water between the heating circuits and the domestic hot water circuit. If this valve fails, you may notice that hot water arrives without heating, or vice versa; you might even experience both circuits mixing. This model is compatible with boilers from the Fagor Super Comfort and Super Compact ranges, such as the FE 24 E and other similar models. It is advisable to replace the valve when these symptoms occur to restore the proper functioning of your system.

How to check if ref. MU0700038 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference MU0700038. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the 3-way valve MU0700038 resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The domestic hot water does not reach the desired temperature or comes out cold, even though the boiler ignites without any problem.
Cause: The valve shutter is not positioned correctly for domestic hot water and continues to go towards heating.
Close the radiator valves and check if the water comes out hot; if it does, the fault lies with this gas valve.
- 02
The radiators are not heating even though the boiler is on and providing hot water at the tap.
Cause: The valve is stuck in the hot water position and does not allow flow to the heating circuit.
With the boiler in heating mode, touch the flow pipe to the radiators to check if there is circulating flow.
- 03
A motor is heard straining in the area of the valve when switching modes.
Cause: The internal mechanism is stuck, usually due to limescale or lack of use after being idle for a while.
Check if the noise occurs at the same moment in the cycle (domestic hot water start or heating start) before changing the part.
- 04
There is moisture at the base of the boiler, near where this valve is mounted.
Cause: The plastic body and brass fittings of this valve lose tightness over time.
Dry the area and check after a complete cycle of domestic hot water and another of heating to locate when the dripping occurs.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
