How to check if the ref. 122062850 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 122062850. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the extractor 122062850 resolves.
The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler tries to ignite, the fan can be heard for a moment, and then it immediately locks out with a flue or draft fault.
Cause: The air pressure switch does not detect the correct pressure because the fan does not reach the necessary speed to close the contact.
Check that the fan spins freely by hand with the boiler turned off and that the flue gas outlet is not blocked.
- 02
The extractor makes a rubbing noise, loud buzzing, or vibration that can be noticed even from a distance.
Cause: The motor or the fan has a worn or unbalanced shaft and no longer spins smoothly.
With the boiler off, turn the fan by hand: if you feel friction, play, or it doesn't turn smoothly, the extractor is worn out.
- 03
The extractor does not start directly, or it starts and stops intermittently.
Cause: The motor winding fails or gradually loses starting power.
Check that power is reaching the connector of the fan when the boiler attempts to ignite before considering it faulty.
- 04
The boiler heats poorly, takes longer than usual, and occasionally locks out for no apparent reason.
Cause: A fan that rotates slower than it should alters the air and gas mixture, causing the combustion to be unstable.
Check if the noise from the extractor has changed in tone over the past few weeks: it is a sign of progressive wear, not a one-time fault.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
