- 01
The boiler does not turn on, it is completely off: no lights or display.
Cause: The control board does not receive or process the current and does not activate any component.
Check that 230 V is reaching the boiler's input and that the main fuse of the house has not tripped before assuming that the PCB is faulty.

The screen lights up but the buttons do not respond.
Cause: The control electronics have become locked, although the basic power is still reaching the PCB.
Disconnect the boiler from the power supply for 30 seconds and then reconnect it to force a reset before changing the PCB.

The boiler starts intermittently, sometimes it ignites and sometimes it doesn't.
Cause: An intermittent fault on the PCB (cold solder joint, component that overheats) causes the control to fail only under certain conditions.
Note if the fault coincides with the use of domestic hot water or heating and check that the connectors on the PCB are properly fitted, without rust or looseness.

An error code appears that does not correspond to any external component checked.
Cause: When the PCB discards faults from the pressure switch, sensor, or gas valve and the fault code persists, the problem is usually in the management electronics itself.
Check the code in the boiler manual and first rule out sensors, pressure switch, and gas valve before assuming that the PCB is faulty.

| 86 | The boiler is not communicating with the control. | Similar to faults 83 and 84: there is a defect in the communications of the PCB. Check the bus and the control. If it does not improve, the PCB needs to be replaced. |
| 87 | The boiler is not communicating with the control. | Similar to faults 83, 84, and 86: the communication interface of the PCB has a fault. Check the wiring and the control. If the problem persists, the PCB is the cause. |
| 168E | Internal error in the boiler's PCB. | In the Platinum Compact 24/24F model, this code indicates an internal problem in the PCB. After checking that it is receiving power and there are no external interferences, if the issue is not resolved, the PCB is defective. |
