Biasi PCB MLB 24SR Ref. BI1045104, composed of two boards: one for power and another for control. This part is responsible for managing the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. When it fails, the boiler may not start, lock out, or behave erratically. It is compatible with models from the GAIA, M.L.B., MLB-PRISMA, and RIVA ranges, such as the 424S, 24 S, and 24 SR, among others. It is recommended to replace it when symptoms of malfunction are present or when issues with ignition and overall operation are detected.

Symptoms and faults that the PCB (control board) resolves
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite and the spark transformer does not make any sound.
Cause: The power PCB does not send the command to the ignition block or to the relays.
Check that power is reaching the power PCB and that the connector to the control board is properly seated.

The three LEDs on the control board are flashing in a sequence that is not usual.
Cause: It is a fault code that the control board emits via LEDs when detecting an internal fault.
Count the blinks and compare them with the fault code table in the manual before replacing the assembly: each sequence indicates a different cause.

The flame ignites but cuts off immediately and the boiler locks out.
Cause: The relay on the power PCB does not maintain the ignition signal for the necessary time.
Check that the blue potentiometers on the control board are not moved from their position before replacing the PCBs.
- 04
The thermostat is calling for heat, but the boiler is not responding even though the main pilot light is on.
Cause: The control board does not transfer the demand signal to the power board.
Bypass the thermostat directly at the terminals of the PCB: if it starts like this, check the thermostat and the wiring.
