Biasi M90 PCB (Garda/Riva) - Bertelli & Partners
The Biasi M90 (Garda/Riva) PCB is the component that controls the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. If it has faults, you will notice that the boiler does not start, locks out, or behaves erratically. This board is compatible with several boiler models, including the Biasi M90.24S and other models from the Manaut range, such as Minox and Malia, among others. It is recommended to replace it when the boiler shows these symptoms of malfunction.

How to check if ref. BI1885101 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference BI1885101. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB BI1885101 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler is unresponsive: there are no indicators, the fan doesn't start, nothing at all.
Cause: If the power supply stage of the PCB is damaged, no other component receives current even if power reaches the boiler.
Before replacing it, check with a multimeter that there is voltage at the input of the PCB and inspect the fuse.
- 02
Relay clicks can be heard on the PCB, but the boiler does not ignite the burner.
Cause: A relay output that does not close the contact properly tries to switch without successfully allowing the power-on command.
Listen for whether the clicking repeats several times in each attempt; that intermittent pattern is typical of a faulty PCB relay.
- 03
The domestic hot water is not heating even though the heating is working normally.
Cause: The PCB manages the command to the domestic hot water circuit separately; that output can fail without affecting the heating.
Check if the fault occurs only when opening a hot water tap and not when requesting heating; this narrows down the problem to that output of the PCB.
- 04
The boiler resets itself, as if it turns off and then restarts without anyone touching anything.
Cause: An intermittent fault in the microcontroller or its power supply causes spontaneous resets of the PCB.
Note the time and frequency of the resets; if they coincide with the use of a nearby appliance, first rule out an electrical network issue.
Fault codes Biasi that this part solves
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| E20 | Lock in the EVG system. | A blockage has occurred in the EVG system. It is necessary to check the system to identify the problem. If the PCB is not functioning correctly, it could be the cause of this blockage. |
| E01 | The boiler does not ignite. | The boiler does not ignite properly. This may be due to a problem with the ignition or with the gas supply. If the PCB is damaged, it could be the reason for this fault. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
