How to check if ref. 122120830 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 122120830. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 122120830 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The display shows nothing, it is completely black, although the boiler seems to be working.
Cause: The display communicates with the main PCB through a flat cable; if that link or the display board fails, no information is visible even if the rest is functioning.
Check that the flat cable between the main PCB and the display is properly connected and that there are no bent pins before considering either of the two boards faulty.
- 02
The boiler is completely dead, with no indicators or sound.
Cause: The transformer or the power supply stage of the main PCB has stopped delivering current to all the electronics.
Measure with a multimeter that mains power is reaching the input of the PCB before replacing it.
- 03
Variable or inconsistent fault codes appear that do not match the actual state of the boiler.
Cause: The main PCB misinterprets the signals from the safety sensors and blocks the boiler even though those components are not actually faulty.
Note the code and the moment it appears, and rule out the pressure switch and NTC by measuring their continuity.
- 04
The remote control does not respond to any button presses, although the display does light up.
Cause: The microprocessor on the main PCB manages communication with the display board; if that communication fails, the buttons stop having any effect.
Check that the flat cable between both PCBs is properly connected before replacing the assembly.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
