Symptoms and faults that the PCB (control board) resolves
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults

The boiler shows no signs of life when turned on.
Cause: Without the control board, power does not reach the rest of the control circuits.
Check that the boiler is receiving power and that the main switch is turned on.

The wall thermostat is unable to start the boiler.
Cause: The PCB is the one that receives the command from the thermostat and translates it into ignition; if that part fails, there is no response.
Check that the wiring between the thermostat and the boiler is properly connected and that the thermostat has batteries if it is wireless.

The boiler turns on and off by itself several times in a row.
Cause: A relay on the PCB that is poorly controlled activates and shuts off the burner without corresponding to a real demand.
Rule out that the thermostat is continuously calling for heat before suspecting the PCB.

It provides hot water but does not heat the heating system, or vice versa.
Cause: The PCB manages each circuit through a separate output and can only fail one of the two.
Test each function separately to confirm that the fault is in only one of them before replacing the PCB.
