How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Look at the label for the model CU-GH04(0304) and the code 0580183_07; on the tag, 2229A1128 and the reference 7660426.
- Compare with the 7660426 ("Victoria Condens air unit card"). If you are offered the 7749763 (SIT CU-GH04), check the 0580183_07: match both codes.
- Do not confuse it with the Baxi Roca control panel 7648436 or the connection PCB 7219229: they are different spare parts.
- Check that the printed connectors are GAS VALVE, 3WV, Pump, and Mains, and that it has CANBUS.
- If they match, call us at 911 17 77 77 with your boiler model and we will reserve it for you.
Symptoms that require diagnosis on the PCB
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite or does not respond to the demands for heating and domestic hot water.
Cause: attribute it to 7660426. First, check the fault code displayed by the boiler.
- 02
Erratic errors on screen or sudden restarts
Cause: It relates them to this PCB; check for stuck relays, burnt traces, or corrosion.
- 03
Unexpected shutdowns or stoppages due to electrical faults
Cause: it indicates for the 7660426.
- 04
The boiler locks out or stops unexpectedly.
Cause: An electrical fault in the PCB can cause lockouts and unexpected shutdowns.
Note the code displayed by the boiler before changing anything. Compare the codes on your PCB (7660426, CU-GH04(0304) and 0580183_07) with those of this part. A technician must diagnose the boiler before replacing the PCB.
- 05
The boiler does not ignite and locks up on startup, with lights 60-70-90.
Cause: There may be a lack of gas or spark.
Check that there is gas and that the valve is open. If it happens again, have a technician check it.
- 06
The boiler behaves erratically and the lights 40-90 or 50-90 appear.
Cause: Faulty sensor or cable with a loose connection; moisture and rust on the connector cause this symptom.
Check the connector and the cable. If they are fine, have a technician check to replace the sensor or the PCB.
- 07
The boiler does not stop when there is no heating demand, with lights 50-70-90.
Cause: Fault in the safety relay.
Have a technician check it.
- 08
The boiler locks with a PCB or sensor fault code and does not start until reset.
Cause: Fault of the PCB, a sensor or its connection.
Note the code and perform a single reset. If it repeats, have a technician check it.
- 09
The boiler does not ignite and locks out after several attempts.
Cause: Ignition fault: gas, electrodes, or the PCB.
Note the code and perform a single reset. If it repeats, have a technician check it.
- 10
The boiler does not ignite after several attempts and gets locked.
Cause: Lack of flame during ignition. This may be due to the ignition electrode, the gas valve, or the PCB.
Check the gas supply and reset once. If it repeats, have a technician check it.
- 11
The boiler turns off several times a day with the burner on.
Cause: Repeated flame loss. Check the ionization electrode or the gas valve.
Do not reset in a loop. If it repeats, have a technician check it.
Fault codes Baxi Roca that require diagnosis
| Code | Fault | Technical checks |
|---|---|---|
| t17 | Overheated PCB. | Wait for it to cool down. It's a boiler status warning, not a fault code. |
| 40-90 | Lights 40 and 90 on: domestic hot water sensor faulty or wiring with a fault. | Check the connector and the cable of the domestic hot water sensor. If they are fine, the sensor or the PCB are the parts to be checked; have a technician inspect it. |
| 50-90 | Lights 50 and 90 on: heating sensor faulty or wiring failure. | Check the connector and the cable of the heating sensor. If they are fine, the sensor or the PCB should be checked; have a technician take a look. |
| 60-90 | Lights 60 and 90 on: the flame relay is not working properly or is off. | If the boiler does not ignite or gets blocked when starting, the PCB (flame relay) is the part to check; have a technician inspect it. |
| 40-60-90 | Lights 40, 60, and 90 on: fault in the safety circuit; the boiler needs to be reset. | Reset according to the manual. If the warning repeats, have a technician check it: it points to the PCB. |
| 50-70-90 | Lights 50, 70, and 90 on: fault in the safety relay, which does not close after the demand. | If the boiler does not stop when there is no demand for heating, have a technician check it: it points to the PCB. |
| 70-90 | Lights 70 and 90 on: safety fuse open. | If the boiler is locked with this warning, have a technician check it: it points to the PCB. |
| 60-70-90 | Lights 60, 70, and 90 on: ignition lock. | Check that there is gas and that the valve is open. If it happens again, have a technician check it: it could be the PCB, the electrode, or the gas valve. |
| 40-50-70-90 | Lights 40, 50, 70, and 90 on: burner off, with very short ignition timing. | If the boiler turns off when starting, have a technician check it: it points to the PCB. |
| 40-60-70-90 | Lights 40, 60, 70, and 90 on: safety relay with very long start-up timing. | If the warning repeats when turning on, have a technician check it: it points to the PCB. |
| E.00.04 | Return temperature sensor disconnected: the boiler does not read the sensor. | Check the connector and wiring of the return sensor. If the issue persists, it points to the sensor or the PCB: have a technician check it. |
| E.00.05 | Return temperature sensor in short circuit. | Check the return sensor and its wiring. If the issue persists, have a technician inspect it: it points to the sensor or the PCB. |
| E.01.04 | Loss of flame five times in 24 hours. | If it repeats, check the ionization electrode or the gas valve. Have a technician inspect it. |
| H.03.02 | Temporary flame loss. | If it occurs frequently, point to the ionization electrode. If it repeats, have a technician check it. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
