Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

  1. Look for the marking M008F (Riello) on the PCB. The sample also shows FW01.2 on the integrated circuit and the printed fuse FUSE1 T2AL250V.
  2. Compare the markings of the transformer: A048B5136GA and B59880-C120-A70. They are component markings, not the reference of the PCB.
  3. Do not equate the M008F and the CP02N2 R10022426 that is for the Super Kompakt 24 CSI, nor the AB05X or AB05B from the Kompact 24: without additional confirmation, they are treated as equal. The display 20011443 is another part.
  4. Check the data plate of your boiler to confirm that it is a Beretta Super Kompact 24 CSI.
  5. if they match, call us at 911 17 77 77 with the model of your boiler. Any questions? Send us a photo of the label of your part and the data plate of the boiler from Contact.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms that require diagnosis on the PCB

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler locks out without flame when starting (A01).

Cause: The flame does not stay lit when igniting: gas valve closed or ignition electrodes.

Check that the gas valve is open. If it happens again, have a technician check it. Do not touch the gas.

  • 02

The boiler locks out due to a faulty sensor (domestic hot water or heating).

Cause: NTC sensor open or short-circuited.

Have a technician check or replace the sensor.

  • 03

The flame on the display goes out, a flashing fault code appears, and the boiler stops heating.

Cause: Safety lock due to lack of flame after ignition.

Reset once. If it repeats, have a technician check it.

  • 04

The boiler locks with a fault code from 50 to 59 and does not restart after resetting.

Cause: Fault of the electronic card (PCB).

    Have a technician check it.

Riello fault codes that require diagnosis

CodeFaultTechnical checks
A01Lockout due to flame failure during ignition.Check that the gas valve is open. If it occurs again, have a technician check it.
A06Domestic hot water NTC sensor faulty or short-circuited.Have a technician check or replace the sensor.
A07Heating NTC sensor faulty or short-circuited.Have a technician check or replace the sensor.
10Flame failure: the boiler does not detect a flame after ignition and shuts down.If fault code 10 resets, have a technician check it: it could be the PCB, the ignition, or the gas.
11Flame detection fault: the boiler detects flame with the burner off.If fault code 11 appears with the burner off, have a technician check it.
71Heating flow sensor (primary circuit). Temporary fault of the sensor. If fault code 71 appears, have a technician check the supply sensor and its connection.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Pending applications to verify
BERETTA SUPER KOMPACT 24 CSI — compatibility noted; pending confirmation by variant.
Before purchasing
  • To confirm: Beretta Kompact 24 CSI: thread of (2021) that cites M008F on its PCB; without "Super", it does not appear to be the same model.
  • Do not confuse: R10022426 · CP02N2 — Beretta CP02N2 management PCB (formerly R10022200) that is Italian for the Super Kompakt 24 CSI (1100353):, with an identical copy in — It is not stated that it is the same PCB: those sheets do not mention M008F nor say that it is equivalent. Confirmation recorded: the M008F for this boiler.
  • Do not confuse: AB05X / ABO5B / AB05B — AB05X is read by a user on the motherboard of a Kompact 24 CSI and ABO5B is only found online; the AB05B board for the "Kompact 24" — without additional confirmation, they are equated to M008F: compare the full marking.
  • Do not confuse: M008F (Fantini) — Article code for a Fantini bidet mixer, LAMÉ series — The code matches, but it is not a PCB: the technical manual from Fantini (hosted) does not mention boilers.
  • Do not confuse: 20011443 — Display of the Beretta Kompact 24 CSI in spare parts — It is the screen, not the PCB: its technical sheet does not mention M008F.
  • Do not confuse: A048B5136GA · B59880-C120-A70 — from components list A048B5136GA with the manufacturer "ELECTRON COIL" and a distributor B59880-C120-A70 as PTC thermistor from TDK Epcos — These are component numbers: they can be found on the transformer of this PCB, which is searched by M008F.
  • A048B5136GA and B59880-C120-A70 are markings of the transformer, not the reference of the PCB. The code of the PCB is M008F.
  • Registered identity and compatibility. Outside, a single external source (a thread) cites M008F on a Beretta PCB, it provides for this boiler the PCB CP02N2 R10022426 (ex R10022200); repeat its same technical sheet.
  • Pending registered applications to confirm by model, variant, or programming: Beretta Super Kompact 24 CSI.
Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the PCB (control board)

What is the Riello M008F PCB and how do I identify it?
It is a Riello PCB with the designation M008F marked on the part. The sample also reads FW01.2 (integrated circuit marking), the printed fuse FUSE1 T2AL250V, on the transformer, A048B5136GA and B59880-C120-A70. An Italian forum mentions "another Riello code M008F" on the board of a Beretta Kompact 24 CSI.
Is it compatible with my Beretta Super Kompact 24 CSI?
The compatibility of this variant is pending confirmation. Registered application: this PCB M008F for the Beretta Super Kompact 24 CSI. Since there is only one source: a thread from May 2021 that mentions M008F on the PCB of a Kompact 24 CSI, without "Super," with no responses and without stating if it is the same model.
Just to confirm: Which Italian PCB is for the Super Kompakt 24 CSI and is it the M008F?
It is not stated that it is the M008F: the management PCB Beretta CP02N2, code R10022426 (formerly R10022200). Application registered for the "Super Kompakt 24 CSI" (1100353); it repeats that same sheet and provides it for the "Super Kompakt 24csi Mtn". None of those sheets mention M008F or state that it is equivalent. Registered confirmation: the M008F for this boiler: do not dismiss it based on those codes and compare the marking on your PCB.
Is it compatible with the Beretta Kompact 24 CSI (without "Super") or another boiler?
The compatibility of this variant is pending confirmation. For now, we cannot confirm it for the Kompact 24 CSI without "Super" or for other boilers. We only have the Beretta Super Kompact 24 CSI registered. The only external source is the thread, where a user mentions M008F on the label of a Kompact 24 CSI without stating if it is the same model. Compare the marking M008F or send us a photo of your part's label and the specifications plate of your boiler from Contact, or call 911 17 77 77.
Is the M008F the same PCB as the AB05X, ABO5B, or AB05B from the Kompact 24?
We don't know. In a user's thread, they read AB05X on the motherboard of their Kompact 24 CSI, but only find ABO5B online and mention that the Riello M008F code is also read; the thread has no responses. They provide AB05B (Technosystem; Beretta Sylber R10029773, Riello 4366197) as the board for the "Kompact 24". Without additional confirmation, they equate those codes to M008F: compare the full marking.
What do M008F, FW01.2, A048B5136GA, and B59880-C120-A70 mean?
To confirm: M008F is the marked designation of the PCB. FW01.2 is read as the marking of the integrated circuit and the other two as the marking of the transformer, not as references of the PCB. Outside of it, components list A048B5136GA with the manufacturer "ELECTRON COIL" and a distributor B59880-C120-A70 as a PTC thermistor from TDK Epcos. M008F is also the code for a single lever bidet by Fantini (technical manual hosted): coincidence unrelated to this PCB.
Who should install this PCB?
A qualified technician. It is the control board of a gas boiler, with mains power supply and relays. Before touching anything, the electrical supply must be cut off and the gas closed.
