Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms that require diagnosis on the PCB

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

It doesn't turn on, it restarts by itself, or it shows meaningless errors.

Cause: A technical sheet associated with this PCB. First, check the 230 V and the fuses F1-F2.

  • 02

The boiler gets blocked with stuck relays.

Cause: According to that technical sheet, the internal relays can get stuck; it also mentions burnt traces or oxidation on the circuit.

  • 03

The Cointra Excellent Micro LN 32 E displays the fault code F37.

Cause: Water pressure in the installation too low or pressure sensor faulty. The PCB only displays the warning.

Check the manometer: with the installation cold, it should read approximately 1.0 bar. If it is below that, fill the system. If the pressure is correct, check the sensor. Rule out these two causes before blaming the PCB.

Fault codes Cointra / Ferroli that require diagnosis

CodeFaultTechnical checks
F37Incorrect water pressure in the installation: pressure too low or faulty sensor (Excellent Micro LN 32 E).Charge the installation to about 1.0 bar with the boiler cold. If the fault code persists, check the pressure sensor. It is a pressure warning, not a fault of the PCB itself: do not replace it without first ruling out these two causes.
F39External sensor anomaly.Check the wiring and the external sensor. If they are fine, it could be the PCB: have a technician check it.
A41Position of the sensors: one sensor is disconnected from its tube.Check that the sensor is properly installed in its tube. If the fault persists, have a technician check it.
F42Heating sensor fault. It is usually a faulty sensor. Have a technician check it and replace it if necessary.
F43The heat exchanger protection has been activated.Check that there is water circulation and bleed the system. If the pump and air are fine, have a technician check it.
F47Fault of the water pressure sensor in the installation.Check the wiring of the pressure sensor. If it is fine, have a technician check it.
F50Anomaly in the Modureg module.Check the wiring. If it's fine, have a technician review it.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the PCB (control board)

Where is the code for this PCB and which one should I compare?
Our PCB has DBM25, the circuit DIMS49-FE01, and CE registration 51BN2289. It states that its reference I39834970 (to be confirmed) is usually printed on the printed circuit board or on a side sticker. Compare it with your DBM25 PCB and the printed reference (39834970, V39834970, or I39834970).
Is it compatible with my Cointra Excellent Micro LN 24, LN 32, Micro Low NOX 24E or Micro Low NOX 32E?
The compatibility of this variant is pending confirmation. Registered: for those four boilers. Additionally, the official manuals of Cointra for the LN 24 E and LN 32 E show DBM25 in their electrical diagram (fig. 33), and they provide between 3 for each one.
Is it compatible with a Cointra Excellent Low NOX 24 E or 32 E, or with an Excellent D Micro?
The compatibility of this variant is pending confirmation. To be confirmed: Low NOX 24 E and 32 E: it does not have them under that name, but they are provided with 39834970 and (same listing, 1 source). The Excellent D Micro LN 24E is another variant: it is given the PCB ABM01. Send us a photo of your part and the rating plate from Contact.
What is the difference between 39834970, V39834970, and I39834970?
V39834970 = 39834970. Coinsat uses the V. They appear in one, to be confirmed: I39834970 (OEM reference), FER39834970, and 39834970 replaces 36508730 (SM).
What do DBM25, DIMS49-FE01, and 39834970 mean?
DBM25 is the model of the PCB: it appears in the electrical diagram of the official Cointra manuals. 39834970 is the Cointra/Ferroli reference. DIMS49-FE01 is the printed circuit board of our unit; it is mentioned and confirmed.
What symptoms point to this PCB?
it is associated with boilers that do not ignite, restart by themselves, display erratic errors, or have stuck relays. First, check the pressure: in the official manual of the LN 32 E, F37 indicates pressure too low (fill it) or a faulty sensor.
Can I install it myself?
It is not recommended. It operates at 230 V · 50 Hz and manages the ignition and safety features. It indicates that it should be installed by a qualified technician and recommends a professional technician.
