How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Look for the identifier DIMS05-SA06 (or "DIMS05 SA06") and the circuit code 70123702. Our unit also has the CE registration 51BN2289.
- Also compare the BI1955102: it is the Biasi code that connects to the DIMS05-SA06, although it does not appear on the label of our unit.
- Just to confirm: Do not confuse it with the DIMS05-SA08 (BI2115104), which is for the M150 and M151: check how the identifier ends.
- Check the exact model on the rating plate of your boiler (for example, Minox Condens 24 E).
- if they match, call us at 911 17 77 77 with your boiler model and we will reserve it for you.
Symptoms that require diagnosis on the PCB
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
06E, 07E or 08E appears: anomaly in an NTC sensor.
Cause: Heating, domestic or outdoor NTC sensor faulty or with defective wiring.
Have a technician check the sensor and its connection.
- 02
The boiler does not ignite and locks with fault code E01.
Cause: Flame not detected on startup: gas fault, ignition fault, or electrode fault.
Reset once. If it repeats, have a technician check it.
- 03
The boiler locks with E11 even when the burner is off.
Cause: Flame sensor: the ionization electrode, its cable, or the plate detect flame.
Have a technician check the electrode, cable, and PCB.
- 04
The E03 fault code reappears after resetting the boiler.
Cause: Internal fault of the PCB or wiring.
Reset and observe. If it returns, have a technician check it: wiring and then the PCB.
- 05
The boiler is locking with E06, E07, or E08 and the temperature displayed is not reliable.
Cause: NTC sensor faulty, or with connector or cable in poor condition.
Have a technician check the connector, cable, and sensor.
- 06
The boiler locks with E22: there is a flame even though the gas valve is closed.
Cause: Call present after closing the gas valve: fault of the PCB or the gas valve.
It is a security alarm: have a technician check it as soon as possible.
Fault codes Savio Biasi that require diagnosis
| Code | Fault | Technical checks |
|---|---|---|
| 01E | Lockout due to burner ignition fault. | Press the reset button once. If it locks again, have a technician check it: it is usually the ignition or flame detection electrode, and then the gas valve. |
| 06E | NTC sensor anomaly in heating. | Have a technician check the heating sensor and its connection. |
| 07E | Anomaly of the NTC sensor for domestic hot water. | Have a technician check the domestic hot water sensor and its connection. |
| 08E | Anomaly of the external NTC sensor. | Have a technician check the external sensor and its wiring. |
| E01 | Safety lock due to ignition failure: flame not detected at startup. | Reset once. If it repeats, have a technician check: gas, electrode, ignition cable, and PCB. |
| E02 | Lockout due to activation of the safety thermostat, due to overheating. | Check for water circulation and bleed the air. If it repeats, have a technician check it. |
| E03 | Generic lock: internal fault without specific detail. | Reset and observe. If it returns, have a technician check it: it points to the PCB and the wiring. |
| E06 | Fault of the heating NTC sensor (flow). | Have a technician check it: connector, cable, and sensor. Point to the sensor if the cable is fine. |
| E07 | Fault of the NTC sensor for domestic hot water. | Have a technician check it: connector, cable, and domestic hot water sensor. Unstable hot water points to the sensor. |
| E08 | Fault of the external NTC sensor. It only affects if an external sensor is installed. | Have a technician check the cable and external sensor. |
| E11 | Flame detection fault: the boiler detects flame with the burner off. | Have a technician check: ionization electrode, cable, and PCB. |
| E12 | Fault of the return heating NTC sensor. | Have a technician check it: connector, cable, and sensor. The return reading is not reliable. |
| E19 | Anomaly of the domestic hot water inlet sensor. | Have a technician check it: connector and domestic hot water sensor. |
| E20 | Gas valve blockage due to pilot valve control hardware failure. | Reset and check if it returns. If it persists, have a technician check it: it is usually the PCB. |
| E21 | Gas valve blockage due to control relay failure of the valve. | It cannot be fixed in the field: have a technician check it. It points to the PCB. |
| E22 | Presence of flame after closing the gas valve. | It is a security alarm: have a technician check it as soon as possible. It points to the PCB or the gas valve. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
