Saunier Duval PCB Ref. 8/411026

Stock · 1 unit

The control PCB of the Saunier Duval boiler manages the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and system safety features. When it fails, the boiler may not start, become locked, or operate erratically. This model is compatible with several boilers from the Saunier Duval brand, among others. It is advisable to replace it if you experience these issues to restore the normal operation of the boiler.

Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB (control board) resolves

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler does not turn on, there are no lights or display.

Cause: The PCB has a transformer and a fuse; if it fails, it does not receive power.

Check the fuse on the PCB and measure if the transformer delivers 24V at its output before replacing it.

  • 02

One of the circuits on the PCB is not responding (such as the pump or the gas valve), while the other one is functioning.

Cause: The PCB has two independent relays; if one fails, it only affects its circuit.

Measure with the multimeter if there is current at the output of the affected component when it should be activated, before replacing the PCB.

  • 03

The boiler is locking with a fault code that does not correspond to the actual state of the sensor or the pressure switch.

Cause: A fault in the PCB can give an incorrect reading from a sensor even if it is functioning properly.

Check the indicated sensor with a multimeter before considering that the PCB is the cause.

  • 04

The fuse on the PCB blows again shortly after replacing it.

Cause: A fuse that keeps blowing indicates a short circuit in the PCB or in the power supply.

Disconnect the components powered by the PCB one by one to find the short circuit before assuming it is the board.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
