Saunier Duval PCB SDHV19 2
When you turn on the tap or activate the heating, the Saunier Duval SDHV19 2 PCB is responsible for controlling the ignition, the modulation of the burner, the pump, and the safety features of the boiler. If it fails, you will notice that the boiler does not start, gets locked, or behaves erratically. This model is compatible with several boilers, such as the SDHV10, SDHV14, SDHV14T, SDHV16, SDHV19, and SDHV8, among others. Replacing this board is necessary when you experience these operational issues.

Can't see your model or have questions? The printed reference takes precedence. How to check it · Send us a photo via WhatsApp.
How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB (control board) resolves
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite and there is no sound from the relays when requesting heat.
Cause: The relays on the PCB close the circuit to the fan, the pump, and the ignition electrode; if they do not work, nothing starts.
Listen closely to the PCB when calling for heat: if you don't hear any relay click, it's a clear indication before replacing it.
- 02
The relays can be heard working, but the fan or the pump do not start moving.
Cause: A relay can get stuck or have burnt contacts and continue making noise without passing current to the component.
Measure the voltage at the output of the relay involved while the PCB activates it, to confirm if current is actually reaching.
- 03
The boiler locks out with a different fault code every few days, without a clear pattern.
Cause: When the problem is with the PCB (control board) itself (solder joints, aged components), the faults tend to be erratic, unlike a specific fault that always repeats the same fault code.
Keep track of the codes that appear: if they change without any apparent reason, it is an indication that points more towards the PCB than to a specific component.
- 04
You smell something burnt near the control panel or see a dark mark on the PCB.
Cause: An overheated component on the PCB, often a relay, usually leaves a visible mark and smell before it completely stops functioning.
With the boiler unplugged, inspect the PCB with a flashlight looking for darkened or swollen areas before replacing it.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
