Viessmann Vitodens 200 WB2A PCB Ref. 7825241
When you turn on the tap or start the heating, the Viessmann Vitodens 200 WB2A PCB controls the ignition, the modulation of the burner, and the pump of your boiler. If this part fails, the boiler may not start, become locked, or operate erratically, showing faults such as F0, E4, b5, or b4. This board is compatible with models from the Vitodens 200-W and Vitodens 300-W ranges, among others. It should be replaced when you experience these operational issues.

How to check if ref. 7825241 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 7825241. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 7825241 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not turn on: there is no light on the display and nothing can be heard, it seems unplugged.
Cause: The PCB distributes power to the electronics, and if its input fails, no current reaches anything.
Before replacing it, check the fuse on the PCB and make sure there is voltage at the input connector.
- 02
The display shows different fault codes or the same warning appears and disappears.
Cause: The PCB interprets the signals from the sensors, and if it fails, it generates errors that are not real.
Note the exact codes and the order in which they appear: a dirty sensor or a loose connector can give the same symptom without it being the PCB.
- 03
You change the temperature on the control and the boiler does not respond, it keeps operating as it wants.
Cause: The remote control communicates with the boiler through the PCB, and if the bus port fails, control is lost.
Try to operate the boiler using its own buttons before ruling out the PCB: if it still doesn't respond, the fault may be the PCB.
- 04
The boiler starts, runs for a while, and then shuts down on its own for no apparent reason, then tries again.
Cause: A relay on the PCB that fails can intermittently cut off the power to the ignition.
First, rule out a drop in water pressure or a fault in the air pressure switch, which can cause the same shutdown without it being the PCB.
Fault codes Viessmann that this part solves
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| F0 | Internal fault; burner locked. | Internal fault of the boiler control unit (PCB). Check 230/24 V, wiring, and sensors; if everything is correct and the code persists, the PCB is faulty and must be replaced. |
| E4 | Burner blocked; fault in the 24 V power supply. | Fault in the 24 V supply/monitoring circuit on the control board. Measure the 24 VDC output and peripherals; if the voltage is correct and the alarm persists, the PCB is defective and must be replaced. |
| b5 | Control mode according to delivery; internal fault. | Internal fault in the regulation electronics (PCB). Confirm that there are no programming/Vitotrol errors and reset; if it reappears, replace the control board. |
| b4 | Regulates as if the outside temperature were 0 °C; internal fault. | A/D converter fault or measurement on the control board causing incorrect external reading. Check the external sensor and resistances at terminals; if they are correct and the fault code persists, the PCB is damaged and must be replaced. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
