Pressure gauge Boiler Fagor FC-24/24/1N Ref. MUC080042
In the Fagor Natur FC boilers, the Fagor FC-24/24/1N pressure gauge measures and controls the water circuit pressure, as well as the temperature. If this part fails, you may notice incorrect readings, which can cause the boiler to lock out due to a false low pressure or not regulate the temperature properly. This pressure gauge is compatible with models such as the FC 24/24-1 N and the FC 24/28-1 N, among others. It is recommended to replace it when it shows faulty readings or affects the operation of the boiler.

How to check if the reference MUC080042 is the part for your boiler.
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference MUC080042. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the manometer MUC080042 resolves.
The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The manometer does not show pressure or the needle does not move when filling the system.
Cause: The mechanism gets blocked or the capillary gets obstructed and does not transmit the actual pressure.
Open the filling valve slowly and check if the needle reacts; if it doesn't move, the pressure gauge is faulty.
- 02
There is a water leak at the base or at the fitting of the pressure gauge.
Cause: The gasket of the fitting loses tightness over time and pressure cycles.
Dry the area well and tighten the fitting with a wrench, without over-tightening; if it starts to leak again, replace the part.
- 03
The needle is stuck at a fixed value, regardless of whether the actual pressure goes up or down.
Cause: Dirt or scale inside the mechanism blocks the shaft that moves the needle.
Bleed a nearby radiator and check if the needle follows the drop in pressure.
- 04
The dial is broken, fogged, or unreadable, and the scale cannot be distinguished.
Cause: The plastic of the glass degrades with the heat from the boiler and years of use.
With a flashlight, check if you can at least see the movement of the needle behind the glass.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
