The water comes out colder or hotter than what the dial indicates.
Cause: The internal contact does not change to the actual temperature because the capillary bulb does not properly detect the heat of the circuit.
Make sure that the bulb is properly inserted into its immersion sleeve, without any play or air around it.

The boiler starts and stops constantly, without stabilizing at a temperature.
Cause: A worn contact opens and closes erratically, sending intermittent signals to the control board.
Check if the capillary tube has any tight bends or is crushed along its path.

Turning the dial does not change anything: the boiler always does the same thing, regardless of the position of the control.
Cause: The contact may have become stuck in a position and does not respond to the turn.
Using a multimeter, measure the continuity of the contact in various positions of the dial.

There is a liquid leak near the thermostat; either the capillary is broken or crushed at some point.
Cause: The capillary contains a fluid that expands and activates the contact; if it loses tightness, it stops responding to temperature.
Visually inspect the entire path of the capillary for folds, cuts, or contact with hot metal parts.
