How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Check the label on your pump and compare it with the model (Grundfos UP15-50 AO-AC) and the number (59945516) of this unit.
- If it shows AO/BC or 59945504, it does not match this technical sheet (only one associates it with another variant): please consult us before purchasing.
- Compare the electrical data: 55 W, 0.26 A, and capacitor of 2.5 µF.
- If your boiler is not the Kompakt 24 CSI, please send us a photo of your pump label and the boiler's PCB from the Contact section, and we will confirm if it is your spare part.
Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults

The radiators do not heat up even though the boiler turns on.
Cause: Check that the pump is running and bleed the air from the circuit.

It makes noise or vibrates when starting.
Cause: Bleed the circuit and check the pressure of the installation.
- 03
It vibrates but does not spin after a long stop.
Cause: The rotor may be jammed: have a technician check it.
- 04
Water is leaking from the body of the pump.
Cause: Check the seals and connections of the pump.
- 05
The boiler locks out due to lack of circulation.
Cause: Check that the pump starts and inspect its capacitor.
- 06
The boiler stops due to excessive heat, with the red pilot light flashing.
Cause: Lack of water circulation, which activates the safety thermostat.
Check the pump and bleed the circuit. If it happens again, have a technician check it.
- 07
The boiler locks with fault code 40 or 41, or with the red and green light flashing.
Cause: Insufficient water pressure in the installation (leak or lack of filling).
Fill up to 1 or 1.2 bar. If it drops again, have a technician check it for leaks.
