How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the circulation pump resolves
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The radiators are not heating or take a long time to do so even though the burner is working.
Cause: The pump does not move the water with sufficient flow, preventing heat from circulating through the system.
Bleed the radiators and make sure the shut-off valves are open before changing the pump; air in the circuit can cause the same problem.
- 02
A buzzing, whistling, or vibrating sound is heard in the pump.
Cause: The noise may be caused by trapped air in the impeller or by a worn bearing.
Bleed the air from the circuit using the pump's bleed valve before assuming that the noise is mechanical.
- 03
The pump does not start, it is stopped and there is no vibration or heat.
Cause: It is common for the shaft to seize up due to sediment or lack of use after the summer.
With the boiler turned off, try to turn the shaft by hand with a flat screwdriver through the front slot; if it is stuck, it can be unlocked without the need to replace the pump.
- 04
Is there water or moisture in the area of the pump?
Cause: The mechanical seal of the shaft loses tightness over time and starts to leak water.
Dry the area and check in a few hours if the moisture reappears at the joint of the pump, to rule out that it comes from another nearby joint.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
