How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.

Symptoms and faults that the safety valve resolves

The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

• 01

  Water is continuously leaking from the discharge pipe, whether the boiler is cold or hot.

  Cause: The seat does not close properly, usually due to dirt or limescale in the internal passage.

  Bleed a couple of times with the lever before ruling out that it is just dirt stuck.

• 02

  The valve is bleeding or releasing water with the boiler at normal pressure, without reaching the 3 bar indicated.

  Cause: The internal spring has lost its calibration or the seat is damaged and opens prematurely.

  Check the pressure gauge right when it trips: if it clearly shows less than 3 bar, confirm that the opening is premature before replacing it.

  The heating circuit needs to be filled frequently because it loses pressure.

  Cause: A slow leak from the valve gradually empties the circuit without any obvious dripping.

  Check if the discharge pipe is damp or has limescale marks, indicating that it has been leaking even if it is not currently visible.

• 04

  When reaching high temperature, a small whistle or puffing sound can be heard from the gas valve.

  Cause: It is the warning that the circuit is approaching the set point and the valve begins to relieve pressure.

  Check the hot pressure with the manometer: if it is around 3 bar, the problem may be with the expansion vessel, not with the valve.
