PCB Junkers Euroline ZW23 Ref. 8707207250
When you open the hot water tap, the Junkers Euroline ZW23 PCB (control board) Ref. 8707207250 is responsible for controlling the ignition and modulation of the burner, as well as the pump and safety features of the boiler. If it fails, you will notice that the boiler does not start, gets locked, or behaves erratically, in addition to the reset button blinking once every 2 seconds and the 75 °C indicator also blinking, indicating that there is a signal at the ionization electrode but the burner does not ignite. This board is compatible with several models from the Junkers Euroline ZW23 and ZS23 ranges, among others. It is advisable to replace it when the mentioned symptoms occur to avoid issues with the supply of hot water.

Can't see your model or have questions? The printed reference takes precedence. How to check it · Send us a photo via WhatsApp.
How to check if the reference 8707207250 is the part for your boiler.
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 8707207250. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 8707207250 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not start, there is not even a pilot light on.
Cause: The PCB is not powering the system, often because the transformer it has installed has stopped providing output.
Measure the continuity of the transformer 6850-156/6851-110 before declaring the PCB faulty.
- 02
A fault code appears on the display and the boiler locks out immediately.
Cause: The electronics cut off the cycle when detecting an out-of-range reading from any sensor connected to the PCB.
Note the code and check the sensor it points to before replacing the complete PCB.
- 03
The thermostat is calling for heat, but the boiler doesn't respond at all.
Cause: The demand signal does not get processed on the PCB, even though the thermostat is working properly.
Bridge the demand terminals on the PCB to check if it starts without the thermostat in between.
- 04
It works intermittently, sometimes it turns on and other times it doesn't, without a clear reason.
Cause: An internal contact fault in the electronics causes the ignition command not to always be received.
Check the connectors on the PCB, clean them, and secure them properly before requesting the spare part.
Fault codes from Junkers that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| The reset button flashes once every 2 seconds (0.5 Hz), and the 75 °C indicator light also flashes. | There is a signal in the ionisation electrode but the burner does not ignite. | The PCB manages the ignition sequence and flame detection; if it is faulty or damp, it may misinterpret ionisation or fail to correctly command ignition. Check the voltages/outputs of the PCB, connectors, and signs of moisture/corrosion; if they are correct, replace the PCB 8707207250 to rule out a printed circuit fault. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
