The fan does not start, or it starts and stops immediately, and the boiler locks out due to a combustion fault.
Cause: This module has the dedicated connector that controls the fan; if its control stage fails, the command or the correct speed does not reach the motor.
Before changing the module, check that the fan spins freely by hand with the boiler unplugged and that it does not make any bearing noise: if the motor is seized, the problem is the fan, not the PCB.

The circulation pump or the burner does not start when it should, although the boiler seems to receive the command.
Cause: The module incorporates two output relays, one rated at 8A/250VAC and the other at 24VDC, which supply power to these components; if one relay gets stuck or does not close, the component it controls will be left without command.
Check if the affected component works by forcing it in another mode of the boiler, to isolate whether the fault is in the relay of the module or in the component itself.

The boiler is locking out with a fault code related to the fan or flue gas evacuation.
Cause: The module interprets the fan speed signal and determines if there is sufficient airflow; a fault at this stage generates safety lockouts even if the fan is functioning properly.
Check that the flue duct is not blocked and that the connector marked "Fan" is properly seated, with no bent pins, before replacing the module.

General fault: the boiler stops responding completely, with no ignition or display.
Cause: A global fault in the control module leaves all components that depend on it without control.
Check the fuse of the module and the main power supply of the boiler before considering it dead: a blown fuse gives the same symptom and is much cheaper.
