How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Look for the TM-G1C V132_G1C plate, the code 0020028476, and the circuit G1C0020045430. Also compare 0020045430 and the other codes in the reference list.
- Don't just stick to 0020045430: other boards with that code have a different prefix (TM-AG1, TM-G1B). Compare the complete TM-G1C V132 and do not confuse it with 0020028474.
- if they match, call us at 911 17 77 77 with the model of your boiler.
Symptoms that require diagnosis in the Vaillant.
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The display turns off and the boiler does not work.
Cause: To confirm: it indicates a fault with the control board in atmoTEC and turboTEC. A technician should check the power supply and connectors before replacing it.
- 02
Erratic errors on the display, restarts, the boiler turns off by itself or locks without clear fault codes.
Cause: To be confirmed: they are associated with this PCB. A technician should check it.
- 03
The boiler stops working or turns off by itself.
Cause: Fault in the PCB that manages the ignition. There may be other causes.
Have a qualified technician check the power supply and connectors before replacing the PCB. Then, compare your PCB code with 0020028476.
- 04
The boiler does not ignite: after three attempts without a flame, the fault code F.28 appears and it goes into fault mode.
Cause: Gas shortage or ignition failure, faulty electrodes or damaged PCB.
If it repeats, have a technician check it. Do not attempt to reset multiple times in a row.
- 05
The boiler shuts down during operation and the restart fails (fault code F.29).
Cause: Temporary gas cut, gas recirculation, condensates, or faulty grounding.
Have a technician check it.
- 06
The gas valve does not activate: the boiler stops with fault code F.61.
Cause: Fault in the wiring or in the coils of the gas valve, or faulty PCB.
Have a technician check it.
- 07
The boiler does not start or shuts down, with the warning F28 or F29.
Cause: Gas supply, ionization electrode or ground connection.
Have a technician check it. Do not touch the gas valve.
- 08
The boiler detects flame with the gas valve closed: warning F27.
Cause: Ionization electrode, faulty PCB or gas solenoid.
It is a security fault. Have a technician check it immediately.
- 09
The boiler locks out with the warning F61 or F62: fault in the gas valve or in the PCB.
Cause: Faulty wiring or gas valve, or a malfunctioning PCB.
Do not manipulate it. Have a technician check it.
- 10
The boiler displays the warning F63: memory fault of the PCB.
Cause: Faulty PCB.
Have a technician check it. It may be necessary to replace the PCB.
- 11
The boiler does not ignite and shows F.28.
Cause: After three failed ignition attempts, the device goes into fault.
It could be related to the gas or the electronics.
- 12
The boiler shuts down during operation and displays F.29.
Cause: The flame goes out and the reignition does not occur properly.
Have a technician check it.
Vaillant fault codes that require diagnosis
| Code | Fault | Technical checks |
|---|---|---|
| F.28 | Start-up fault: after three attempts without flame, the boiler goes into fault. | If it repeats, have a technician check it: it could be the gas, the electrodes, or the PCB. |
| F.29 | Flame loss during operation and failed reignition. | If it repeats, have a technician check it: it could be the gas supply, the flue gas recirculation, the grounding, or the ignition. |
| F.61 | The gas valve does not activate properly: fault in the wiring, coils, or PCB. | Have a technician check it. Point to the PCB if the wiring of the gas valve is correct. |
| F.62 | The gas valve takes time to close after the flame goes out. | Have a technician check it: it could be the gas valve, the electrode, or the PCB. |
| F.63 | Fault in the memory of the PCB (EEPROM). | It usually points to the PCB: have a technician check it. |
| F.67 | The flame signal is not valid: fault in the electronics or ionization. | If it goes out when turning on, have a technician check the PCB and the ionization. |
| F27 | Flame detected with the gas valve closed. | It is a safety fault. Have a technician check it immediately. Point to the ionization electrode or the PCB. |
| F26 | Stepper motor current of the gas valve not plausible. | Have a technician check it. Focus on the gas valve, its wiring, or the PCB. |
| F49 | Low voltage on the eBUS (thermostat or controller line). | Check the wiring of the thermostat. If the warning returns, have a technician check it. Point to the communication PCB. |
| F64 | Fault in the electronic system or in the sensors. | Have a technician check it. It points to the PCB or a short circuit in a supply or return sensor. |
| F65 | Electronic system temperature too high. | Have a technician check it. It points to external heat on the PCB or a faulty PCB. |
| F20 | Safety temperature limiter activated: overheating. | Do not reset it over and over again. Have a technician check it. If the warning returns, it may be due to a lack of water circulation, not the PCB. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
