  • 08

The boiler does not ignite and locks out with F28 or F29.

Cause: Flame is not detected when igniting, or the flame goes out and does not reignite: lack of gas, ignition failure, or electrode fault.

Check that the gas shut-off valve is open. If it remains blocked, have a technician check it.

  • 09

F.27 appears with the heating stopped.

Cause: Flame detection without demand (parasitic flame).

Do not insist: it is a security fault. Have a technician check it.

  • 10

The boiler does not ignite and shows F.28.

Cause: Failed ignition attempts: flame not detected.

It could be related to the gas or the electronics.

  • 11

Three ignition attempts without flame and the boiler locks out with F28.

Cause: Lack of flame when igniting: gas closed or with low pressure, ignition electrode or burner defective.

Check that gas is reaching and reset once. If it blocks again, have a technician check it.

  • 12

The boiler shows F27 with the burner off.

Cause: Moisture in the electronics, faulty PCB or gas valve that does not close completely.

Have a technician check it; do not try to resolve it yourself.

  • 13

F65 appears and the boiler's electronics are hot.

Cause: Insufficient ventilation around the boiler or excessive heat from the surroundings.
