Cewal Thermomanometer Fagor FEB-20E, FA 15/20, FA 20, FE20E, FE20E2B

Stock · 4 units

The Cewal Fagor FEB-20E, FA 15/20, FA 20, FE20E, FE20E2B thermometer gauge measures and controls the pressure and temperature of your boiler's circuit. When it fails, you may notice incorrect readings, which can cause the boiler to lock out due to a false lack of pressure or not regulate the temperature properly. This gauge is compatible with models such as FA 20, FE 20 E, and FEB 20 E, among others. It is recommended to replace it when you observe that the readings are not accurate or if you experience operational issues with the boiler.

Guide

How to check if ref. MU1208500 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference MU1208500. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the manometer MU1208500 resolves.

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The pressure or temperature gauge is not moving or has remained fixed at a certain point.

Cause: The internal mechanism of the instrument gets stuck over time and with the circuit cycles.

Bleed a radiator or compare with the boiler display before considering the part as defective.

  • 02

The dial is broken or scratched, and neither of the scales can be read properly.

Cause: The sight glass suffers impacts during the maintenance of the boiler.

Shine a flashlight to check if the needle is still functioning normally behind the scratch.

  • 03

A leak in the circuit is suspected, and the pressure reading needs to be confirmed with a new instrument.

Cause: With the misaligned needle, one cannot rely on the diagnosis of whether the pressure loss is real or if it is a fault of the thermomanometer.

Leave the boiler off for a few hours and note if the indicated pressure changes on its own: if it doesn't move, the problem might be with the part and not a leak.

  • 04

The indicated temperature does not match the one shown by the boiler.

Cause: The capillary that transfers the temperature from the circuit to the needle loses accuracy over time.

Compare the reading with the temperature sensor of the boiler before purchasing the new part.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
