Stock · 7 units

The air pressure switch Ariston Genus 27 Bffi Honeywell monitors the air pressure and authorizes the operation of the boiler. If it fails, the boiler will not start or will lock out, even if the pressure is correct, and it may display the fault code B: Air pressure switch stuck in N.O. position (C–NO contacts closed before the fan starts). This model is compatible with boilers from the Genus range, such as the Genus 27 BFFI, Genus 27 MFFI, Genus 27 RFFI System, and Genus 30 MFFI, as well as the EuroCombi A27 MFFI. Guide

How to check if the part number 571652 is the one for your boiler.

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 571652. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch 571652 resolves.

The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

You turn on the ignition, the fan starts, and the boiler stops after a few seconds without igniting.

Cause: The pressure switch does not close the air contact, and the control board blocks the gas flow as a safety measure.

Check that the silicone tubes going from the pressure switch to the fan are not loose, bent, or have condensed water.

  • 02

The fan is making more noise and takes longer than usual before it tries to start.

Cause: The diaphragm of the pressure switch is stuck or there is a leak in the pipes that reduces the actual depression reaching it.

Check that the connection fittings are properly fitted and without visible cracks in the pipe.

  • 03

It has been unused for months and now, when starting it up, it doesn't ignite on the first attempt.

Cause: The accumulated condensation in the pipes during the shutdown blocks the airflow to the pressure switch.

Disassemble the pipes and check that they are clean and dry on the inside before replacing the part.

  • 04

If you insist on multiple resets in a row, it sometimes ignites on its own.

Cause: The internal electrical contact is worn out and makes a poor connection at the switching point.

With the boiler disconnected, check that the pressure switch wires are securely attached and free of oxidation.

Fault codes for Ariston that this part resolves.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
BAir pressure switch stuck in N.O. position (C–NO contacts closed before the fan starts). The pressure switch may become stuck or have blocked/condensed intake tubes, causing the PCB to 'see' draft authorization without actual flow. Check with a multimeter that C–NO is open with the fan stopped and only closes when generating depression; inspect the venturi, tubes, and Δp.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
