Types of boilers we repair and install
Condensation
The mandatory typology in replacements with facade exhaust. Utilises the latent heat of the flue gases: efficiency over LCV of 90-93% and energy class A. Flue gas outlet in PVC and condensate drain.
Gas combi
Heating and domestic hot water with a single unit. The most common option in apartments. Instantaneous DHW via plate heat exchanger or bithermal heat exchanger.
Low NOx class 6
Complies with current ErP regulations. It is used when facade evacuation with condensation is not possible: non-condensing outlet, maintains high efficiency.
Biomass
Pellet, olive stone, or wood chip. Requires a technical room and silo. Common solution in chalets and rural areas; not suitable for urban apartments.

Frequently Asked Questions about Boilers
How often should gas boiler maintenance be performed?
The RITE establishes a mandatory inspection every two years for gas boilers with a power output of less than 70 kW. Insurers and manufacturers often require annual maintenance to maintain warranty and claims coverage, so the usual practice is an annual inspection.
What is the difference between a condensing boiler and a low NOx boiler?
The condensing boiler harnesses the latent heat of the flue gases and achieves efficiencies over 90-93% PCS, with energy class A. The low NOx class 6 boiler maintains similar efficiencies but with less heat recovery; it is used when facade evacuation installation is not possible.
Can my old atmospheric boiler still be repaired?
As long as there are spare parts available in the market, it can be maintained, but when replacing it, the new one must comply with the current ErP regulations: condensation or low NOx class 6 depending on the type of flue.
What does the fault code displayed mean?
Each manufacturer has its own table. The most common ones indicate ignition fault, lack of pressure, NTC sensor, fan, or pressure switch. The technician interprets the code with the service manual and rules out the root cause before replacing parts.
Is the combi boiler providing lukewarm or intermittent water, what could it be?
In combi boilers with plate heat exchangers, it is usually a blockage due to limescale. The usual treatment is chemical cleaning of the heat exchanger. If the issue persists after cleaning, the heat exchanger may be damaged and should be replaced.
How long does it take to replace a boiler?
A standard replacement (wall-mounted combi boiler, equivalent location, compatible flue outlet) is completed in one day. If it requires adapting the flue or switching from atmospheric to condensing, it may take two days.
Do you repair boilers of all brands?

What documentation does the installer need to provide?
After installation or replacement, the authorized installer provides an installation certificate, leak test, and, when applicable, communication to the gas distribution company. The installation is registered by a qualified installer in category IG-B or IG-C as appropriate.
Do I need to change the flue when replacing the boiler?
If the new boiler is a condensing type and the outlet is through the facade, in many cases the duct can be reused but the termination is replaced. Condensing expels flue gases at low temperature through white PVC and requires a condensate drain.
