Junkers PCB ZWR24-2 Ref. 87483000300
If your boiler does not ignite or gets blocked due to a flue gas evacuation fault, the Junkers ZWR24-2 PCB may be the solution. This part acts as an extractor, evacuating combustion gases and generating the necessary draft for the boiler to start. When it fails, you may notice faults such as C1, C6, or C7. It is compatible with models like MINI-11AE, MINI-8AE, ZR24-2, among others. It is recommended to replace it when you notice problems with ignition or flue gas evacuation.

How to check if ref. 87483000300 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 87483000300. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the extractor 87483000300 resolves.
The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite and no click is heard when calling for heat.
Cause: If the relay that activates the ignition does not switch, the PCB does not send the command to either the gas valve or the fan.
Bring your ear close to the PCB when requesting heat; if you don't hear any click, rule out the thermostat first before replacing the PCB.
- 02
The boiler attempts to ignite and then shuts off immediately, always the same way.
Cause: A fault in the control electronics interrupts the ignition sequence before it is completed.
Check if the display shows any fault code at that moment before changing the PCB, the cut-off might be coming from another sensor.
- 03
The fan or the pump do not start even though the rest of the boiler functions normally.
Cause: The PCB is the one that gives the electrical command to these components; if the output circuit fails, they do not receive current even if they are in good condition.
Measure with a multimeter if voltage reaches the fan or the pump at the moment of the command before considering the PCB as faulty.
- 04
The boiler locks out and needs to be manually reset frequently.
Cause: The PCB interprets a fault, either real or from a sensor reading, and repeatedly locks the equipment for safety reasons.
Note which fault code each lockout indicates; if it's always the same, it points more to a specific sensor than to the PCB itself.
Fault codes from Junkers that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | Fan speed is not reached. | The fan control PCB (Gebläsesteuerung, ref. 87483000300) may not properly excite/regulate the motor, preventing it from reaching the speed; check by measuring the output from the PCB to the fan and ensure that the pressure switch closes with the airflow. |
| C6 | Differential pressure signal not detected. | Fault in the fan control board causes the fan not to start or not to generate the required flow, and the differential pressure does not close; check voltage/commands from the board to the fan and rule out fan/wiring before replacing the board. |
| C7 | Device does not detect a running fan. | If the auxiliary fan control board does not supply or read the tacho signal from the fan, the boiler does not detect rotation; check for the presence of speed signal (tacho/Hall) at the connector to the board and ensure the fan is rotating correctly. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
