  Cause: The ignition arc is weak or irregular and does not always ignite the gas from the burner.

  Check if the spark is continuous or intermittent; if it is intermittent, the fault is usually in the ignition system.

  There is no spark or ignition sound when requesting heating.

  Cause: The electrode or the internal transformer of the spark train has stopped generating the electric arc.

  Check that the connector and the high voltage cable are properly secured before replacing the part.

• 03

  The boiler locks out with an ignition fault or flame detection fault warning.

  Cause: Without a reliable spark, the burner does not ignite and the system shuts down for safety after the allowed attempts.

  Clean the electrode of any soot deposits and check its position before replacing the complete assembly.

• 04

  There is a smell of gas for a few seconds after each failed ignition attempt.

  Cause: The gas flows to the burner, but since the spark does not ignite, it remains unburned.

  Check that the electrode is properly aligned with the burner and has not moved before considering the spark train faulty.
