Cause: The PCB powers the rest of the electronics of the unit. If its input stage fails, no current reaches any component.
Before replacing it, check the fuse on the PCB and that there is mains voltage reaching the input connector.

You change the setting on the control and the boiler does not respond, it operates on its own.
Cause: The control communicates with the boiler through the PCB. A fault in that bus port interrupts that communication.
Try to operate the boiler using its own buttons: if it responds there but not to the remote control, check the remote control or its wiring first.

The heating water or tap water fluctuates between very hot and lukewarm for no reason.
Cause: The PCB regulates the flame modulation. If that function fails, the boiler does not dose the power correctly.
First, rule out scale in the heat exchanger or a dirty temperature sensor, as they produce the same effect.

The boiler requests heat, but neither the pump nor the fan starts; everything remains still.
Cause: The start command for these components comes from the PCB. If that output is damaged, it won't reach them even if the rest is functioning properly.
Manually check that the pump spins freely before replacing the PCB: if it is stuck after the summer, the fault is with the pump.
