  Cause: The closing seat of the valve is worn and allows water to pass slowly even when it is closed.

  Close the valve completely and observe the manometer for a couple of hours; if the pressure continues to drop, this part may be the cause.

  Moisture, a ring of lime, or even a fine crack appears around the faucet.

  Cause: The plastic of the valve becomes brittle due to heat and may crack in the threaded area.

  With the boiler cold, visually inspect the body and the thread for cracks or remnants of dry scale before requesting the spare part.

  The key switch is difficult to turn or is stuck.

  Cause: The accumulation of limescale can clog the mechanism if the tap has not been used for a while.

  Try to move the control gently; if it doesn't move, do not force the plastic as you could break it.

  After filling, the pressure does not hold and drops quickly within a few minutes.

  Cause: If the internal non-return valve of the tap is not functioning properly, water may flow back into the network.

  Fill up to the recommended pressure, close the valve, and monitor the manometer during the first few minutes to see if the pressure drops quickly.
