  When opening the valve to fill the circuit, the pressure does not rise on the pressure gauge.

  Cause: The internal mechanism is stuck or the passage seal is not closing properly, and the water is not entering the circuit.

  Before declaring the valve faulty, check that the mains valve is open and that there is no trapped air in the circuit.

  The faucet continuously drips water even when it's closed.

  Cause: The seat or internal sealing gasket has worn out and no longer seals when closed.

  Dry the area and observe for a few minutes with the boiler at rest; if the dripping comes from the body of the valve itself and not from a nearby connection, it is the part.

  It's very hard to turn the key, or it has become completely stuck.

  Cause: Lime and accumulated sediments seize up the internal plastic mechanism over time.

  Try a gentle back-and-forth movement without forcing it before considering it stuck; sometimes it can be released by applying some moderate heat to the area.

  The pressure keeps rising on its own after closing the valve.

  Cause: The seal does not completely close, and water continues to slowly enter the circuit.

  Close the valve completely and check the manometer 10-15 minutes later; if the pressure continues to rise, the fault is in the closure.
