  Cause: The filling valve does not seal properly when closed and allows water to pass slowly into the circuit.

  Close the valve completely, dry the area well, and observe for a few minutes to see if moisture reappears before considering it faulty.

  A ring of water or drops appear under the filling valve.

  Cause: The internal seal or the body of the valve has lost its tightness, and the water is leaking out there instead of staying in the circuit.

  Tighten the union fitting with an appropriate wrench, without forcing it, in case the leak comes from a loose thread and not from the valve itself.

  The blue knob with a white ring turns, but you don't feel any resistance or that it opens or closes anything.

  Cause: The internal mechanism that pushes the shutter has broken or become disconnected from the knob.

  Slowly move the knob from end to end and check if the pressure gauge reacts; if the needle doesn't move, the mechanism is broken.

  The valve is stiff, it's hard to turn or it doesn't move at all.

  Cause: Limescale or residues in the circuit have seized the internal mechanism, something common after months without using it.

  Try gently moving the knob in both directions without applying too much force; if it doesn't budge at all, confirm the jamming before replacing it.
