  Water is coming out of the quick connection when trying to fill, instead of going to the circuit.

  Cause: The O-ring of the bayonet wears out or shifts, preventing the coupling from sealing when connecting the hose.

  Check the condition of the rubber gasket of the bayonet and the hose before replacing the valve: often the problem is there, not in the valve.

  The filling hose does not attach properly to the quick connection or comes off on its own when pressed.

  Cause: The bayonet mechanism loses strength with use, which prevents it from holding the hose securely.

  Test the filling hose on another bayonet, if possible, or check if the retaining tabs are bent or worn before replacing the valve.

  The red handle spins freely or is broken and does not engage the internal mechanism.

  Cause: The plastic of the handle cracks or comes loose from the shaft due to the heat of the boiler.

  Check carefully if the inner shaft is still turning and opening the passage even if the handle is damaged, before replacing the entire valve.
