Main PCB Saunier Duval Themaclassic F24 E (IRIS 1.0) — Ref. S1008200

Stock · 8 units

Main PCB IRIS 1.0 for the Saunier Duval Themaclassic F24 E. It manages ignition, modulation, and all safety features (fan, pump, gas valve, and sensors). If your boiler shows faults F1/F2/F3, overheating, or random resets, this PCB may be the cause after ruling out peripherals.

Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB S1008200 resolves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

Boiler off or random restarts without a pattern

Cause: Source/filtering of the IRIS 1.0 PCB degraded

Measure 230 V at the ALIM 230 V terminals and check secondary voltages; inspect capacitors and solder joints.

  • 02

    F1/F4 persistent without spark

Cause: Ignition/ionization stage on faulty PCB

Check the electrode and cable; if they are OK and there is no high voltage, the PCB may be faulty.

  • 03

F2 when starting with fan off

Cause: Fan output (relay/triac) on PCB

Check 230 V to the fan at startup; if there is no voltage and the fan is fine, suspect the PCB.

  • 04

    F5 with cold radiators

Cause: Pump not controlled by the PCB or air in the circuit

Check 230 V at the demand pump; bleed the system and check the limiter.

  • 05

    Erratic temperature readings (intermittent F14)

Cause: NTC input or unstable mass on the PCB.

Measure NTCs and their harness; if values are correct, check connectors/NTC input on PCB.

  • 06

Keyboard/display unresponsive but PCB LEDs active.

Cause: Communication fault with user PCB

Check user PCB (S1008100) and bus; if the main one does not power/interrogate, possible fault in IRIS 1.0.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
F1 / F4Ignition fault (no gas or flame not detected)Check the gas supply, ignition/ionization electrode, and wiring. If there is demand and there is no spark or voltage at the valve, suspect the ignition module on the IRIS 1.0 PCB after ruling out peripherals.
F2Air/exhaust fault (ventilation-pressure switch)Check for blockages in the chimney, pressure switch tubes, and fan. If the fan is working and does not receive 230 V from the PCB at startup, there may be a fault with the fan output/relay on the PCB.
F3Repetitive air faultSame causes as F2; check the continuity of the pressure switch and its piping. If the pressure switch activates and the PCB does not manage the cycle correctly, evaluate the PCB.
F5Overtemperature (limiter/safety)Bleed the system, check the pump and limiter. If the pump and NTCs are correct but the PCB does not power the pump or does not stop the burner, the PCB may be damaged.
F9Other faults in safety loops/sensors (e.g., pressure/flow)Check the pressure/flow sensor and connectors. If the values are correct and the issue persists, there may be a reading/input fault on the PCB.
F14Heating temperature >95 °C (CTN heating)Check the NTC sensor on the supply side and its wiring. If the NTC measures correctly and still shows F14, assess the A/D conversion/NTC input on the PCB.
F17Mains voltage too low (<170 V)Check the electrical network and grounding connection. Usually unrelated to the PCB; if it only occurs in your boiler, check the source/filtering of the IRIS 1.0.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Before purchasing
  • Prior gas and power cut. Check for the absence of 230 V before handling.
  • Respect the tightening torque of terminals; replace gaskets/joints that are single-use.
  • After the change, perform hydraulic bleeding and a complete combustion/safety test.
  • If SYMSI 7.0 (S1047000) is installed, follow the conversion sheet of kit 0020017592 (wiring/parameterization).
  • Do not bypass safety devices (pressure switch, limiter, sensors). Serious risk.
Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the PCB S1008200

Does this PCB work if my Themaclassic F24 E already has SYMSI 7.0?
No. If your PCB is SYMSI (S1047000/0310144400Rxx), you must use that reference or the conversion kit. The IRIS 1.0 S1008200 is not interchangeable without the kit.
Do I need to program anything after changing the IRIS 1.0?
In IRIS 1.0, there is no coding as in later ranges; a reset and checks are sufficient. In SYMSI kits, specific manufacturer instructions are still followed.
I see F1 and sometimes F2: is it certain that the PCB is faulty?
Not necessarily. F1/F2 are usually due to lack of gas/ionization or due to fan/pressure switch. Only conclude defective PCB after measuring power/signal outputs and ruling out peripherals.
