Check if the fault occurs at the same moment during the ignition attempt: a repetitive pattern points more towards the PCB than to a specific fault.

There is no way for the boiler to respond to the remote control or the wall thermostat.
Cause: The input circuit of the PCB processes those external signals; if it fails, the demand is never executed.
Try manually bridging the demand if your model allows it, or check the thermostat connection before replacing the PCB.

The circulation pump never starts, although it sounds fine when you test it manually.
Cause: The relay on the PCB that supplies power to the pump can remain open and not activate the component even if it is functioning properly.
Measure with a multimeter if the pump connector is receiving voltage when the boiler should be demanding circulation.
