How to check if ref. 0020087276 is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 0020087276. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump 0020087276
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The heating takes a long time to warm up or does not heat at all, even though the boiler ignites.
Cause: The hot water is not circulating properly, which causes the more distant radiators not to heat up.
Adjust the pump to the highest speed before replacing it, in case the issue is just with the flow rate.
- 02
A thump or strange noise is heard when the pump changes speed.
Cause: The change in speed may indicate that the bearing is worn out.
Observe whether the noise occurs only when changing speed or also during continuous operation: this will help you identify if it is an electronic or mechanical problem.
- 03
Water is appearing at the base of the boiler, near the pump.
Cause: The shaft seal wears out over time and may start to leak water.
Dry the area, turn on the boiler, and locate the source of the dripping before replacing the part.
- 04
The pump does not rotate after a period of not using the boiler.
Cause: The impeller can become blocked by deposits if the water has been stagnant for several weeks.
Unplug the boiler and try to unlock the shaft manually through the front slot before replacing it.
Fault codes Saunier Duval that require diagnosis
| Code | Fault | Technical checks |
|---|---|---|
| 33 | Control cycle: the air pressure switch does not switch. | The differential pressure switch for fumes does not close when the fan starts; check with a manometer/ohmmeter the switching of the pressure switch and ensure there are no obstructions/water in the inlets and flue duct. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
