The VMW 43CF is the highest capacity model among these three ecoTEC exclusive: it reaches 33.2 kW of heating at 80/60 °C and 36.0 kW at 50/30 °C. Its minimum power also increases, up to 4.2 and 4.9 kW respectively. For a highly insulated home or one with few open areas, that minimum should be considered alongside the maximum, rather than always opting for the most powerful version.

In domestic hot water, it delivers 42.8 kW. The specific flow rate of 20.4 l/min at ΔT 30 K allows for studying demands higher than those of the 36CF; the 24.5 l/min in the technical sheet corresponds to ΔT 25 K. Vaillant recommends it for three bathrooms, a toilet, and a kitchen, but three showers of 8 l/min at ΔT 30 K would add up to 24 l/min, exceeding its specific flow rate.

The sanitary limiter of 14.0 l/min should not be confused with that test flow rate or with the mixed water from the showers. Micro-accumulation improves the response when starting consumption, without constituting a large volume sanitary deposit. Network pressure, inlet temperature, and other taps affect the simultaneous capacity.

Although it maintains a height of 720 mm and a width of 440 mm, the depth increases to 450 mm and the net weight to 46 kg. The gas connection of the unit is 20 mm and the air and flue connection is 80/125 mm. These changes require a review of the space and installation during a replacement; it is not enough for the front to have the same size.

What to check before installing this boiler

The choice of equipment does not replace the inspection of the installation by a qualified professional.

  1. Confirm the model and commercial reference, the type of gas, and the supply configuration in the manufacturer's documentation.
  2. Ask a qualified installer to assess the heating and domestic hot water demand; compare measured flow rates at the same temperature difference.
  3. Check dimensions, connections, flue gas evacuation, condensate drainage, and controls compatible with the existing installation.
  4. Confirm the included accessories and the delivery time before scheduling the installation. The online purchase of the equipment does not include installation or commissioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions: calderas de condensación 125834629

Is the exclusive 43CF the best option for any 200 m² house?
Not necessarily. In an example of 200 m² with assumed losses of 80 W/m², the load would be 16 kW; it is not a surface limit set by the manufacturer. The 43CF operates between 4.2 and 33.2 kW at 80/60 °C, so it is important to cover cold days as well as adapt to low demands. A well-insulated house may require less heating power even if it has many bathrooms. The domestic hot water demand and the thermal load should be sized separately.
Can the 43CF supply two or three showers simultaneously?
With showers of 8 l/min, two require 16 l/min and three require 24 l/min. If the water enters at 10 °C and is used at 40 °C, the temperature rise is 30 K: their 20.4 l/min specific flow exceeds the first example, but not the second. It is not a guarantee of two actual showers: pressure, temperature, other taps, and mixing are factors. The limiter of 14.0 l/min is a different data point and should not be modified in an attempt to reach an advertised flow rate.
Does it have a tank to supply three bathrooms or just micro-accumulation?
The 43CF belongs to the mixed range with micro-accumulation. The commercial recommendation from three bathrooms, a toilet, and a kitchen does not indicate that it includes a large tank or that all can consume at the same time. There are no integrated domestic hot water reserve liters specified in this documentation. For sustained consumption, it has a production of 42.8 kW and the available flow rate; a project with accumulation requires selecting and sizing that solution explicitly.
Does the 43CF fit in the same cabinet as the exclusive 36CF?
The 43CF has a depth of 450 mm compared to 382 mm of the 36CF: it requires an additional 68 mm just for the body. Both measure 720 x 440 mm in height and width. It is necessary to reserve 5 mm on the sides, 180 mm below, and 500 mm for front access. With its air intake and exhaust connection of 80/125, the manual indicates 276 mm above. The connections and the exhaust system must be checked, not adapted solely based on the similarity of the front.
What changes in heating and installation between the 36CF and the 43CF?
The 43CF increases the maximum heating output from 25.0 to 33.2 kW at 80/60 °C, but it also raises the minimum from 3.0 to 4.2 kW. It changes from 41 to 46 kg, from 382 to 450 mm in depth, from a gas connection of 15 to 20 mm, and from a flue of 60/100 to 80/125 mm. The specific flow rate of domestic hot water rises from 17.4 to 20.4 l/min at ΔT 30 K. These are changes that require reviewing demand, support, and connections.
What is the electrical consumption of the exclusive 43CF compared to the 36CF?
The declared maximum for the 43CF is 105 W in heating and 122 W in domestic hot water, compared to 61 and 113 W for the 36CF. Both indicate less than 2 W in standby. These are not permanent consumptions nor gas expenses: they depend on the mode and operating time. The estimated energy data displayed by the unit should not be used as a bill or as a substitute for the meter reading.
