The Saunier Duval Thelia Condens 25-A offers heating from 5.0 to 18.1 kW at 80/60 °C and domestic hot water from 5.0 to 25.2 kW with natural gas. At 50/30 °C, it delivers 5.3-19.1 kW of useful output. It is an option to consider when the calculated load does not require the maximum of a Semia 30, paying attention to the minimum of 5 kW in low demand areas. The maximum factory setting for heating is configured at 15 kW and should be checked by the installer.

The Warm Start feature reduces the wait time when requesting hot water. The specific flow rate of 12.1 l/min at ΔT 30 K should not be replaced by the 14.6 l/min measured at ΔT 25 K; at ΔT 35 K, the value is 10.4 l/min. The sanitary limiter of 8 l/min is another condition that matters in actual use. This data allows for evaluating a shower and other consumption without turning the XL profile into a promise of simultaneity.

Its aluminum heat exchanger and the declared modulation of 1:5 are accompanied by a seasonal efficiency of 94%. The reference 12016089 does not include control and is distinguished from the MiSet or SRT50/2 sets. The MiGo Link application solution is optional. The H-ES variant is exclusive for natural gas, without conversion to propane, and the A+ system class depends on a specific regulation combination.

The casing measures 740 x 418 x 300 mm, with a net weight of 31.6 kg and a service weight of 35.6 kg with water. The installation must maintain 300 mm above and below and allow for 600 mm of front access, in addition to the door clearance indicated for a cabinet. Is the Thelia Condens 25-A suitable for a 100 m² apartment?

As an example, 100 m² with a supposed loss of 80 W/m² require 8 kW. The Thelia offers 5.0-18.1 kW useful at 80/60 °C, so that calculated load example falls within the range. The minimum also matters: a zone that demands 3 kW is below and can cause cycling. Square meters are not guaranteed; the installer must check losses, emitters, and usage by zones. The 25 in the name does not mean 25 kW of heating: in domestic hot water, it reaches 25.2 kW.

Does the Thelia 25 allow for two simultaneous showers in winter?

With an inlet temperature of 10 °C and water at 40 °C, a ΔT of 30 K is compared. The specific flow rate is 12.1 l/min, while two showers at 8 l/min require 16 l/min. The manual also indicates a domestic hot water limiter of 8 l/min, a different magnitude from the test. If the temperature difference rises to 35 K, the specific flow rate drops to 10.4 l/min. Two sustained showers cannot be guaranteed; pressure, mixers, inlet temperature, and domestic capacity must be assessed before making a choice.

Does the Warm Start micro-accumulation equate to a water tank?

The manufacturer refers to Warm Start as the preparation that reduces the wait for hot water. It is not equivalent to a domestic hot water accumulator with a useful reserve for multiple consumption points. The system uses a plate heat exchanger, and the 8-liter expansion vessel is for the heating circuit, not for stored water for showers. Having an XL sanitary profile does not guarantee simultaneity either. If you need a reserve, compare useful liters, recovery, and demand of an accumulation solution.

What free space does the Thelia 25 need inside a cabinet?

Its dimensions are 740 x 418 x 300 mm and it weighs 31.6 kg net, 35.6 kg with water. The plan requires 300 mm above and below. It allows 0 mm on the sides for installation, but removing one side requires 50 mm. It distinguishes 600 mm of front access and 5 mm in front of a cabinet door: it is not enough to just fit the body and close the furniture without access. It is necessary to check the drainage, connections, and support, even when replacing another boiler of similar dimensions.

Can I install the Thelia Condens 25-A in a house with propane?

This H-ES variant is only for natural gas G20; its conversion to propane is not available. It is not a fuel change that can be assumed during installation. Before purchasing for a property with LPG, select a device whose documentation and label authorize that gas. The inspection must be carried out by a qualified professional; sharing brand, power, or casing with another model does not demonstrate compatibility.

What is the difference between reference 12016089 and the packs with MiSet?

12016089 corresponds to the Thelia without control. MiSet wired, MiSet Radio, and SRT50/2 appear as sets with their own references.
