Stock · 1 unit

The draining tap Junkers Ceraclass Excellence ZWC 35 35 3 MFA is a filling valve that allows water to be replenished in the heating circuit, helping to maintain the proper pressure. If it has faults, you will notice that you cannot refill the circuit or that it is continuously leaking water, which can lead to an increase in pressure. This part is compatible with boilers from the ZWB, ZWC, and ZWN ranges, including models such as the 24-3 C, 28-3 MFA, and 18-6 AE, among others. It is recommended to replace it when the aforementioned anomalies in operation are detected.

Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the filling valve resolves

The filling valve allows water to refill the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The faucet drips even when it's fully closed.

Cause: The gasket or internal seat wear out due to lime and water pressure and stop sealing.

Gently tighten the connection nut and check if it is not a nearby threaded joint that is leaking before replacing the entire faucet.

  • 02

When trying to drain the boiler, no water comes out or only a very small amount.

Cause: Lime and sediment in the circuit tend to clog the narrow passage of this type of tap, especially with hard water.

Open and close the tap several times in succession and gently tap the body to remove scale before replacing it.

  • 03

The faucet is seized up, it's very difficult to turn or it doesn't move at all.

Cause: The internal mechanism rusts or calcifies if the tap hasn't been used for a while.

Apply a few drops of penetrating oil to the stem and wait a few minutes before forcing it or considering it unusable.

  • 04

There is moisture or lime stains around the tap, at the base of the boiler.

Cause: A micro-leak from the stem O-ring, which hardens with heat and time, leaves that trace.

Dry the area thoroughly, place paper underneath, and check both when cold and hot to see if the moisture reappears before deciding to replace it.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
