  The boiler does not ignite the burner when any hot water tap is opened.

  Cause: The flow detector does not detect the passage of water and does not send the signal to turn on.

  Check that water is flowing normally from the tap before looking at the detector, to rule out a network pressure issue.

• 02

  The boiler is locking out with a warning related to the water circuit.

  Cause: Without flow signal, the control board assumes there is no circulation and cuts off the ignition for safety.

  Check that there are no air bubbles or leaks in the DHW circuit before replacing the sensor.

• 03

  The hot water is coming with a lower flow rate than normal, almost at the limit of turning on.

  Cause: If the internal mechanism of the detector is partially obstructed, the signal only activates with high flow rates.

  Check or clean the cold water inlet filter; scale is the most common cause of low flow.

• 04

  The fault appears and disappears: some days there is hot water and others there is not, without touching anything.

  Cause: A detector with a degraded contact gives an intermittent signal depending on vibration or small flow variations.

  Note when it fails (cold water, hot water, network pressure) to see if the pattern matches the sensor or another part.
