  The boiler does not ignite the burner when the hot water tap is opened, in any part of the house.

  Cause: The flow sensor is not sending the water flow signal to the boiler.

  Check for a general cold water cut-off before replacing the sensor: without cold water input, the domestic hot water system won't start either.

• 02

  The hot water comes out in bursts, stops, and then comes out again for no apparent reason.

  Cause: The sensor gives unstable readings due to deposits, and the boiler turns the burner on and off following that erratic signal.

  Bleed the domestic hot water circuit properly before concluding that the sensor is faulty: air in the pipe produces the same effect.

  The boiler only fails with the domestic hot water; the heating works perfectly.

  Cause: The flow sensor only operates in the DHW circuit, so a fault here does not affect the heating.

  Confirm that the fault occurs in all taps and not just in the one farthest from the boiler.

• 04

  The flow of hot water has decreased even though the overall pressure of the system is correct.

  Cause: Lime deposits on the sensor can give a partial reading that prevents the boiler from modulating at maximum power.

  Check the cold water inlet filter before the sensor: if it is dirty, it produces the same symptom without the part being faulty.
