  No hot water comes out when the tap is opened, no matter how long you wait.

  Cause: The flow meter does not close the flow detection contact, and the boiler never receives the command to start the burner.

  Check that there is normal pressure and flow in the cold water before touching the flow meter: without incoming flow, it won't detect anything either.

• 02

  The burner does not ignite when requesting hot water, although the boiler works fine for heating.

  Cause: The flow meter only intervenes in the production of hot water, so the fault is limited to that circuit.

  Check that the fault occurs at all the taps in the house before considering the part as faulty.

• 03

  The hot water comes out in bursts, rising and falling in temperature without touching the tap.

  Cause: An intermittent flow detection causes the boiler to turn the burner on and off in short modulations.

  Bleed the air from the domestic hot water circuit and check the inlet filter before replacing the part.

• 04

  The domestic hot water has suddenly stopped working, without any prior warning or visible error.

  Cause: If the flow meter gets stuck without ever closing the contact, the boiler simply does not see the demand for hot water.

  Measure the continuity of the wiring of the flow meter with a multimeter before replacing it, in case the fault is due to a connection issue and not the part itself.
