  Cause: A flow meter with a weak signal requires more flow than usual to activate the ignition.

  Open the tap to the maximum for a moment to see if it ignites with more flow; if it does, there may be dirt before a total breakage.

  The flow of hot water is intermittent or very low, coming in and out for no apparent reason.

  Cause: An irregular flow detection causes the control unit to modulate or cut off the burner erratically.
