  Cause: The turbine of the flow meter requires more flow than usual to rotate because it is partially obstructed by scale or particles.

  Remove the inlet filter, if present, and check for scale or accumulated debris before considering replacement.

  The flow of hot water fluctuates even when the tap is held steady.

  Cause: The water flow through the flow meter is not uniform, usually due to dirt in the turbine, and the control board modulates the flame based on that irregular signal.

  Check if the problem occurs in all the taps in the house or just in one; if it is only in one, the source is not in the flow meter.

  The boiler does not detect the demand when there is low flow, for example, with the tap slightly open.

  Cause: It is typical of this type of sensors: if the flow drops below the minimum detection level, they do not send a signal even if there is a real flow.

  Open the tap a little more to check if the boiler ignites at a certain flow rate; that indicates a sensitivity issue, not a total fault.
